Why Need to Partition Hard Drive in Windows 10?
Usually, computer manufacturers made only one partition on hard drive. So, most of the Windows 10 users will create more partitions if there is only one partition on the hard drive. Why do they need more partitions?
Most of the users have two reasons behind it. The first thing is that your system can be attacked by virus, if this disaster happens on your hard drive partition, then it such case you may format the hard drive partition. What will happen? If there was only one partition on the hard drive, then it leads to wiping of data after formatting.
The second reason is that you can separate your OS, programs and data. In such case, it is more convenient for you to manage your different data. Sometimes, if your system gets crashed then in such case you just need to reinstall the system, the programs or files stored in other hard drive partitions are still safe.
